Mike has led numerous high-impact projects, managing over 30 technical professionals distributed across various houses of competence—including UI/UX, Backend, iOS Development, Android Development, and Quality Assurance. His leadership is supported by a strong architectural, security, design, and total quality team, ensuring project delivery is consistently on time, within scope and budget, and up to standard.
In addition to leading development teams, Mike also oversees Proof of Concept (POC) and Customer Support teams, as many of the projects he’s handled have transitioned into operational phases. Based in Manila, Mike heads the development site, servicing remote businesses and distributed teams by efficiently bridging time and space through modern virtual collaboration tools.
Mike was instrumental in designing and implementing project delivery processes at the Manila software hub. He champions Agile Project Management methodologies, primarily SCRUM and Kanban, although he previously utilized traditional PMBOK approaches. His technical oversight includes version control (Git), release management (Bamboo), and real-time issue tracking and project management via Jira. He also facilitates regular communication with stakeholders through weekly project reports and sprint demonstrations.
Mike is actively engaged with project stakeholders, financiers, and clients, while remaining deeply involved in the daily operations of his technical teams. His leadership spans both the technical and administrative domains, ensuring alignment with current innovations, best practices, and industry standards.
Beyond technical delivery, Mike emphasizes strong human resource leadership. As the founding employee (#1) of one company, he was pivotal in building it from the ground up—recruiting talent, establishing departments, fostering team collaboration, and instilling agility across the board. He manages capital and operational expenditures, oversees vendor and partner relationships, and ensures comprehensive team support, including coaching, mentoring, performance planning, career development, discipline, and all aspects of people management.
With over two decades of experience in IT, Mike has journeyed through the full spectrum of the industry—from solutions architecture and software engineering to deployment and support. His expertise spans end-to-end Agile Software Development Lifecycles, particularly using web and mobile technologies. From novice to seasoned professional, Mike’s roles have included programming, support, systems analysis, leadership, and full managerial responsibility.
Additionally, Mike brings experience as a systems administrator across networks, IT services, user workstation management, and server/data/application maintenance—both proprietary and open-source. His work has impacted government agencies, private enterprises, startups, and multinational organizations, engaging with professionals at all levels.
Mike’s well-rounded skill set includes change management, training and mentoring, risk mitigation, communication, total quality management, root cause analysis, and service delivery. These were developed not only through formal training and institutional education but also through extensive hands-on experience and a deep commitment to applying these principles in real-world settings.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Information Science from New Era University, completed coursework in Program Logic Formulation and Java Programming, and earned a Master’s in Technology Management from the University of the Philippines.
